Generally speaking, Morocco is a country with multicultural society and rich

culture, civilization and etiquette. As well as, Moroccan country is located in North West of Africa, widely open on the Atlantic Ocean from the West, and the Mediterranean Sea from the North with 35 million population. As, we all know that Morocco is one of the most countries in the Arab world that focused on the country’s coast(Atlantic and Mediterranean), history and culture in order to attract a lot of visitors.

Moroccan people are among the most hospitable ones in the world. They are warm, open, and make fast friends with every one. And we can not ignore their culture that also based on language

diversity. Berbers are the majority of Moroccan population who can be divided into three main groups with different dialects: the Riffians, the Chleuh and the central Moroccan Amazigh. Besides, we all know that the official languages of Moroccans are modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and French, whereas, Berbers have their own languages notably Tashelhit, Tarefit and Tamazigh. Furthermore, Morocco has a variety of religions as follows; Islam, Christianity and Jew and others. Morocco like many Islamic societies is mostly Sunni and Moroccans today following the Maliki School (Madhab) which is moderate and reasonable doctrine .In addition,it’s acceptable to say that the organization of wedding in Morocco differs from place to another in different parts of Morocco which derived from cultural diversity that is manifested in particular by various rituals; for instance, costumes, music, art, behaviors, styles of dress, ways of producing and cooking food and there are many different meals such as Couscous and Tajjine that are tasted delicious and different from one region to another and so on.

Moreover, the family is the center of every Moroccan’s life. Children live with their families until they get married or go away to school. It is common for Moroccan women to live with their husband’s family. Women are expected to take care of the home. The elderly are highly respected and are cared for by their families. Both men and women play a strong role in decision-making. Men work outside the home as farmers, merchants in their shops, etc. while, women and children also work in the fields carrying crops home and so on. Likewise, Moroccan woman spend the majority of her leisure time doing weaving which is one of Morocco’s most important cultural expressions.

It is clear that Moroccans are extremely friendly and hospitable and they are the most generous people even though there are a variety of cultures and races in the relevant country. As well for, tourism empowers the government to look after their visitors.
